Localization & translation
Converting from Japanese, Korean, or Chinese to English? Make it completely natural with expert translation and copywriting. No more worry about unskilled translators and machine translation.
From
local
to Global
Do you have a global website or business materials that started with a language other than English? Are they producing the outcomes you desire? If not, you're not alone. Many companies directly translate from their native language to English, use amateur copywriters, or, even worse, use machine-generated translation (such as Google Translate) in their customer-facing materials. At best, this conveys information with no clear path for the reader's next action. At worst, it repels potential customers who think, "If they can't communicate in English, how can I do business with them?"
We offer a solution – true localization. Translation is by skilled translators, followed by a combination of proofreading and expert English copywriting. The end result is native-level, highly attractive and understandable, outcome-oriented English. Is this something that can bring your company more leads, prospects and sales success? We have use our unique expert methods on numerous global companies with a track record of success and 90% repeater rate (customers continuing to use our services)? Would you like to be our next success?

Frequently asked questions about localization
We work with the following pairs:
Japanese-to-English (our specialty)
Korean-to-English
Chinese-to-English
Thai-to English
We do not handle other language pairs but feel free to ask us for tips.
Any items related to sales and marketing, such as:
- websites
- press releases
- blogs
- donor or internal communications
Please note that we do not translate in specialized areas such as legal documents, technical instructions, and medical documents.
We consider the amount of research and the complexity of the job. Rates for basic projects start at $0.20 per English word and $0.15 per Japanese or Chinese character. We also offer discounts for larger projects and ongoing retainer contracts.
Localization is an extra step beyond translation. Instead of just translating word-for-word (normal translation like what you receive from a translation company), we will look into the meaning, audience, and intent. We will adjust the language so the tone, intent, and specific wording are ideal for your audience.
For example, if you are translating a Japanese website for a global audience, we’ll use your Japanese as source material, then rewrite the translation based on your readers and intent.
We do not do large-scale document translations, such as books or manuals. Our translation is aimed at achieving sales and marketing aims, as well as facilitating communication across cultures, and in a completely natural and native type of English.
