Integrated Author Support: The unique paradigm for journal success

Transform Your Medical Journal's Impact
From low visibility and poor submissions to thriving readership and quality manuscripts.
Editors spend too much time triaging preventable problems. Manuscripts arrive out of scope, skip basic instructions, or miss required reporting elements. These issues are rarely about weak science. They stem from gaps in guidance and preparation. Integrated author support is a simple idea with big payoffs. Treat author education, interaction, and content as one system. Link each touchpoint to the next. The goal is clear: build better‑prepared authors and steady awareness of your journal and publisher.

A series of sessions is usually necessary to truly guide and achieve learning. However, sometimes a single session is required, such as for researchers in a particular subject area or for new peer reviewers. We can arrange those, as well.

First, we like to know about your financial ability and your specific aims. We also want to try our best to encourage you if you’re from the Global South or face any sort of budgetary constraints. After we consider your situation, we may request full or partial payment in advance (especially for seminars and learning), or a monthly retainer arrangement paid upon job completion may be better for you. Let’s discuss it and find a way to make it work for you.

As content director for multiple companies, Dr. Dyke was called on to produce educational materials in the form of seminars/webinars as well as written material in the form of web content, blogs, etc. He also commissioned visuals. For the written aspects, Dr. Dyke and Dr. Goulston are frequently collaborators, as companies and organizations often want a combination of educational and marketing-oriented materials. This lets us offer a unique combination of academia and business knowledge in a “content” package.

For learning in the form of seminars/webinars, this may depend on user feedback and how rapidly learners can implement what they have learned. That is a shared responsibility. For content, we can apply traditional metrics such as viewers, impressions, and conversions. We’ll be happy to discuss your unique situation and how we can achieve the goals you want.
